Learn By Doing
- Number sense-counting, sequencing, comparing numbers of objects, one-to-one correlation, and counting to determine quantity.
- Computation-beginning addition and subtraction
- Algebra and math functions including sorting, comparing, and patterning
- Geometry-recognizing and describing shapes
- Measurement-using standard and non-standard units
- Problem solving
Science lessons will be centered around nature and scientific methods of predicting, exploring, testing observations, and investigating. Students will learn using developmentally appropriate tools like magnets, balances, magnifying glasses, mirrors, rulers, and probes.

Tuition Rates
Decatur 4 day option: $475/month
Non-Refundable Deposit
We require a deposit (Decatur: $375) to hold your child’s spot until their enrollment date. This amount will be applied to the first month of education.
Family Discount
A 10% tuition discount will be applied for families with more than one child attending. The 10% discount will be applied to the oldest child’s tuition. A 5% tuition discount will be applied if the tuition is paid in full for the calendar year.
SDC Fine Arts Academy enrollment process is on a first-come, first-served basis. Tours will be given and applications processed beginning March 1st, for the upcoming school year.
*We know all children develop at different rates, therefore, if your child is not at the ages listed, please contact us to set up a meeting/assessment to see if they are ready.

Our primary goal is to prepare pre-school aged children to enter Kindergarten or 1st Grade with the confidence and skills they need to succeed.”

Are you a child-care center or mother's day out program?
Does my child have to be age 3 or 4 by the start of school?
No. We know all children grow and develop at different rates and some are ready earlier than others. You as the parent know them best! We would love the opportunity to meet you both and assess the student to see if they are ready to start school even if they are not of age by the start of the year.
What hours/days will my child attend?
Our school day begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 2:30 p.m. Students at our Decatur location will attend school Monday through Thursday and our Denton location will have the option for Monday/Wednesday, Tuesday/Thursday or Monday through Thursday.
